100 things I want to do before I die... #99

Read a book in the light of a chandelier

What could be more stylish than reading a fantastic book in the light of a big beautiful chandelier? I went to the boutique Merci today, which was an amazing experience. Wow, I can't belive that there are so many things that I never even knew I couldn't live without. For instance a penholder for a notebook (11 euro), an envelope with flower prints (9 euro for one), paper towels in fabric (6 euro), a candle smelling like shit or nuits d'été as they have chosen to call it (priceless!) and so on. Holy cow(!!!). But right there, in the middle of all the weird overpriced stuff, was this fabulous library café with books covering the walls and chandeliers hanging from the ceiling.
The library café at Merci. All the books were of cause for sale, damn commercialism!
This inspired me so much, and I have therefore decided that I must must must get a chandelier when I grow up (At 25 I'm still a child at heart, and furthermore I need to get a proper apartment where a chandelier will not hit the floor when hung from the ceiling). Then I have to get a lot of books to make me look intelligent (any advise?), a cosy armchair and a pipe. Not so feminin or healthy, but all the cool people smoke them. When all this is accomplished I can cross one more thing off my "100 things I want to do before I die"-list...

All the cool people: Bogart, Arnold, Freud, Hefner, Einstein, Sinatra and my buddy Bing Crosby
