As mentioned in yesterday's post, monsieur boyfriend and I went to Malmö during the weekend on a small but nice getaway. When we weren't walking around in the beautiful city, we were resting our feet in one of the many cafés and restaurants. One, which is worth mentioning is the Café Moccasin, Fersens Väg 14. It didn't look like much from the outside, but the food and ambiance was truely amazing.
If you are in the mood for a fantastic espresso or latte, please do your self a great favor, and go to Solde Kaffebar (Regementsgatan 2). It looks like a bit of a dump, but their coffee is the best I've ever tasted (and that says quite a lot after having spend six months in Paris). As a bonus the coffeehouse has the cutest dragon-drawings on the walls which each have a funny remark, as the one in the picture below - Some dragons are never alone (True that...)
But no coffee without cake (...if you ask me anyways...), and for that purpose I can highly recommend Pronto on Lilla Torv. According to themselves, it's "the home of the cheesecake", which is quite the accomplishment, when having numerous New York-cheesecakes on the menu, weird swedes! And when talking of weird swedes, one restaurant lured with having genuine swedish beer, Carlsberg. That statement really hurt my danish heart, so no tips that time around.
Also Lilla Kafferosteriet can be recommended, but there were so many people waiting in line, so don't go there if you are in the mood for a quick coffee-fix, as you might have to wait for a while.
Hope you are not tired of Malmö yet, as I have one more post for you with shopping-tips and a bit of a dilemma I would like to get you opinion on...
